From a young age, Taylor had a keen eye for visual composition that translated into an exploration of cake decorating, starting with decorating cupcakes and then more intricate cakes. Taylor pursued this passion by attending SUNY Delhi college that had a specialty in pastry design. She went on to become the head wedding cake designer at a high-volume bakery followed by a position with a prominent catering hall, where she continued to hone her skills in color coordination and mixing textures all in the pursuit of creating aesthetically pleasing designs. Pivoting to her other passion, interior design, Taylor attended the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design and earned an Interior Design Certificate. Post MIID, Taylor took on several design projects, excelling in understanding her clients’ vision and translating them into beautiful, functional spaces. With her knowledge of design and devotion to its fundamental principles, Taylor is a great asset to our Showcase Tile & Stone team.
